YOU GET

 Just a thought...... We get what we let happen with our silence!
I consider myself to be one of the large silent majority that shows up when it’s time to vote but makes sure no-one can know what they really think.  We are now reaping the costs of our silence over the last six decades.  We have allowed our country to be infiltrated, allowed our educational system to deteriorate, have allowed our children to be indoctrinated, allowed our country’s internal history to be twisted and contorted.

The bible tells us “You reap what you sow” but if you don’t sow anything you will be overrun with weeds.  Our silence has led to the current state of anarchy and we have allowed our crop and our children to be transformed from the crop we wanted to field upon field of poison ivy.

It is sad that we have allowed our Judeo-Christian desires to be good stewards of our planet:  love our neighbors, take care of our poor and those in need, to be used to be twisted into the mess we experience today.  We have allowed good to extrapolate into a back door into our society that seeks to transform our nation into something that Marx and Lenin could only dream of.

In multiple quests for personal power and wealth our body politic has been changed from “for the good of country” into how do I get votes.  We have watched politicians buy votes with perks for every different faction our people can be splintered into.

These past few years we have allowed targets to be put on the entire law enforcement contingent and have labeled them with stigma of being racist.  We have placed racism at the top of the list for what our country represents and we have allowed this to happen in our silence.  We have allowed enemies of our society in our educational system to indoctrinate our children while eliminating education regarding the growth and transformation of our country from the time of Columbus and the pilgrims, through wars to gain our country’s freedom. Wars to keep our allies free, WWI and WWII.  We have seen one of our deadliest and costliest war fought on our soil to eliminate the practice of slavery ; a war that led to the assassination of President Lincoln.
These past few weeks we have watched and heard our news media report on the revolution of anarchy that is taking advantage of the moment.

The movement of “Black Lives Matter” as a legitimate message proponent has been infected by the weeds of anarchy.  The racist actions of a few personnel that led to the BLM movement, has cost the lives of many law enforcement individuals of all colors, races, and creeds.  Many of these men and women were assassinated simply because of their occupation as protectors of our neighborhoods.

The pathway to a better place as a country will not be attained through hatred, anger and distrust.  It will not be achieved through teaching our children to fear each other because of color or belief.  It will not be achieved with silence and inaction.  It will not be achieved as long as we allow our nation to be governed by power seekers who maintain their positions in government by false promise and verbal manipulation.

 It will most definitely not be achieved through silence and the blind eye of indifference.

It is time for the “Silent Majority” to make their voice heard at the ballot box, make their voices heard throughout the media world, and to take back the education of our children.
GOD BLESS THOSE WHO SERVE OUR COUNTRY AND NOT THEMSELVES

A TIME FOR SHOUTING

 Just a thought...... If the "Silent Majority" is aware of the term "spiritual warfare", and that the spiritual is often acted out in the physical world....
                                       WHY ARE WE STILL SILENT?
We stand quiet while the truth is being drowned out by the shouts of a few.
We are at a time in our national existence that the resolve of our people is being tested.  A time that will determine our future, once again as a country and as a society.  We have been here before in our history and it would be advised that we use history as guidance into our future.
The majority of people in my age group make up “the silent majority”.  We were taught by educators, parents, pastors to be silent if we couldn’t say something nice, we shouldn’t say anything at all.  That part of our social growth has allowed us to become imprisoned and surrounded by those who are enemies of our history; our success as a nation and as a light of freedom of thought, speech, religion in the world and that gives each of us the right to achieve our best.  Most of us, in the silent majority, are no longer silent because of how we were raised, but we are now silenced due to the fear of being ostracized by the new loud voice of “political correctness”.  Political correctness has infected every part of our society and seeped into the very heart of our educational system, our body politic and by those, we should be able to trust for accurate information, the news media.  Our freedom of speech has been destroyed in favor of what we should think like, speak like, and act like.  Sadly, we are giving up these freedoms without so much as a whimper.
We have been at war constantly after declaring victory at the end of WWII.  We have been at war with an ideology far more patient in its form of attack than we could have anticipated.  We called it a “Cold War”, but that really didn’t explain the underlying attack method that would be used against us.  We were warned, by the Communist party leader, that we would be defeated not by weapons but by words and beliefs.  The schism within our country during the Viet Nam war created an opening that would prove dangerous to our system of democracy, and capitalism.  Some members of the anti-war, pacifists turned to socialism as a kinder gentler type of society and political governance system.  As a modern-day “fifth column” infiltrated our system of higher education with a propaganda message.  The indoctrination of generations of our population has continued to erode our unity.  The new attack is now from not just the educators but from the media, the politic, and the entertainment industry.
The information media has moved from news to a more influential form of word manipulation mixed with large doses of innuendo to guide the beliefs of our people.  The entertainment industry has taken on the position as the educator of change in terms of what are considered to be norms with-in our society.  The political focus is no longer balanced in terms of what is best for our society and our country, but is now like a game of winning elections by any means that will serve that purpose.
Our country’s population has been actively and purposefully splintered into fragments and factions. Children have been taught disrespect, fear, and anger toward everyone who disagrees or is different than their own little wedge of society.  The effectiveness of divide and conquer tactics utilized by our enemies is now proven as we watch the streets of our great cities being over-run and victimized.  We are not born fearful of other humans, we are not born with a heart and mind of hatred.
Our enemies know that a house divided can not stand

A DESCENT: VIRTUE SIGNALING

A DESCENT: P/C; VIRTUE SIGNALING EQUALS A BULLY! How far we have come in the last fifty years or so. I remember some seventy years ago that it was so important to be able to help your neighbor when he needed help. I remember how important it was to treasure honesty, respect, hard work, your parents, your family as a whole. I remember being taught in grade (elementary) school to respect your teachers, your country and your country’s flag, I remember being taught that it was wrong to steal, to damage someone else’s property.
For the majority of our society’s members, those things are still a predominant part of how we live our lives, how we make our choices. However, the majority at this point in time has diminished to an almost negligible percentage, according to our news and polls taken.
Rather than being ruled by the rule of law, we are watching a decline to a rule by mob, perceived moral justice, and a muzzle on thought. We are no longer allowed to think outside the box of “political correctness” and “virtue signaling”. Even though those screaming in the streets decry the acts of physical and psychological bullying, in schools and social media, they condone showing off their superior virtue by bullying everyone they disagree with. We now see many politicians openly prostrating themselves before the loudest, most violent, disruptors. The art of protest has been infiltrated by those who profit from the discord they can create within our society. The adage “United we stand, divided we fall” shouts out the truth that the obverse is just as loud.

TAPS WASTED (C) RON BURRES

 TAPS WASTED

How sadly today must be viewed by all those souls whose blood was spent for the ideals of our country.  Thousands of those who believed in standing up for a great society and fighting to give the rights of freedom to others around the world.  How could they condone the fiasco and hypocrisy that is being played out in our body politic when the cause of good is spent on the theatrics of political gamesmanship?  How is it that the practice of falsehoods, inuendo and word-twists has put us in the position of moving backwards in time towards those other times that we pitted brother against brother.  I believe that history will see the last three years as some of our darkest hours in terms of how our elected representatives have abandoned their purpose for country in favor of party first.  How our higher educational system has failed to educate in favor of indoctrination which is seeping through osmosis into all of educational strata. Finally, how the Press and news reporting is now a partisan facilitator rather than reporting fact. They now actively change wording and meanings in order to give one party advantages over the other.

I wonder just how many of those fallen for just cause would view the travesty of the last three years in which we have watched our congress pursue the folly of attempting to negate our last election by any means possible.  This is being played out much the same as a sporting event pitting one side against the other when the purpose of our Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were established to give every corner of our country a voice.  We are a Federalist Republic, not a true democracy where the most in numbers dictates.  The founders did everything they could that would prevent governance by any small but powerful group or ideology.  It makes no sense to claim the higher moral position while doing whatever it takes to chalk up a win for a political party instead of working toward the success of our country and our society.

Why is it that while our President is overseas working for our country, that we have a faction of politic working toward wounding and weakening his standing as a international leader.  Why are they trying to force him out of office when our population has the opportunity to exert their freedom of choice in our electoral process.  Why have they wasted valuable time in chasing the past instead of fighting for the betterment of our country.  Why have they wasted the time they have had to improve our international trade agreements, our national safety, and our national economy.  They have wasted our time, our money and the  “TAPS PLAYED FOR OUR FALLEN WARRIORS”

WHAT ARE WE ALLOWING TO HAPPEN?

Abraham Lincoln: America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves. Nakita Khrushchev: "We will take America without firing a shot.  We do not have to invade the U.S. we will destroy you from within."

It appears that we have reached a precipice in our country's growth toward enhancing the animal society called mankind.  We are watching as a portion of our body politic attempts a coupe against a legally elected President of the United States of America.  With a presidential election a few months away the party of dissent and disturbance have decided they can not take a chance on our Republics choices.
If I remember my civics education there was something about the oath of office as it pertained to the members of congress, the presidency, as well as many positions of states and cities "to protect and to obey the laws of the United States of America.  Recently that part of the oath is antiquated as far as our borders are concerned, and as far as our constitution is concerned.  The Press is no longer a reporter of facts. Our history is being rewritten and we are being sociologically reprogrammed by educators and the entertainment industry.
Reasons for impeachment: Increase in mutual fund retirement funds; Doing what he was elected to do (draining the beurocratic) swamp; pulling our country out of bad international agreements; reducing taxes; working toward securing our borders; lowest unemployment in history for minorities, including women; Working toward reducing the capacity of atomic weaponry in N. Korea and Iran; Working toward stopping the theft of intellectual properties by China; improving international trade agreements; Continuing working for improvement and making America Great Again. Reasons to vote for Democrat agendas: To nullify the votes of 60 million + Trump voters; No other important issues.

LAWS TO BE LIVED BY

Having been raised in the corral of Catholicism, guilt is a common internal guide for my behavior as well as a built in parent yelling in my ear DON'T DO THAT!  It has taken me many years for me to be able to choose my own belief system that will direct my do's and don'ts.
Lent is one of those Catholic annual segments of time that says we are too fast, to give up some particular activity of our normal daily life that will cause us to reflect on the 40 days of fasting in the desert that Christ went through, (preparing him for the hell that he would eventually fall prey to during His crucifixion.)
This year it occurred to me that we as a nation could get some benefit from a honest reflection regarding the state of our society. The current questions could easily be answered by some biblical and New Testament directives.  The early Jewish reception of the Ten Commandments into their society not only gave them moral and spiritual directives, but also gave them a guide for a common way of living together that works as the basis of law for any group of people. It boggles the mind that we require a legislative branch of government to justify, passing thousand page laws when the age old commandments would suffice.  Our society would be better served by the following of those directives, than by the party politics of today’s society.
To cap things off, today's politics get into the subject of the government forcing empathy, love, compassion, and caring for the poor and needy humanitarian situations when this is not really a government responsibility. Those are really the responsibility of the individuals within our society.
In the New Testament, Jesus stated the two most important laws for mankind to follow are: love God with your whole self and; love your neighbor as yourself.  All that is required for a charitable people is for the individuals to follow those last two laws.  We don't need a government to direct what we as individuals should choose to do as a course of our own individual guidance systems.

 Believe in God, the redemption of man through the death and resurrection of Christ, or not, good is not a result of law, it is however, to be judged upon the individual. It is the individuals that are the judges of their own society.

God Bless our people, our President, and our nation.

TIME TO RESPOND

After months of trying not to drive myself, my friends, my family, around the bend with all the things and subjects the can push me over the edge....there are too many things cluttering up my mind so here I am again.  Right off the top I can list a few subjects that act as a motivator for my ire.
     The continuation of the 2016 Presidential hate Trump agenda;
     The promotion of Socialistic tenants throughout our educational system;
     Party politics instead of the legislative branch doing what their oath of office requires, working to        achieve what our country needs;
     The erosion of ethics and morality in our society; and on and on and on adinfinitum*.
     More than enough subjects not mentioned that will make my yadayadyada  continue for years to          come.
and it seems that the same old anti-Trump verbiage from 2016 returns for the 2020 fiasco to come.
