LAW OF THE JUNGLE

Anyone who has viewed nature shows on their tv, phones, or tablets, know that there are predators and prey in any jungle.  Most of us know the advantages of one and the disadvantages of the other.  Given a choice, I would prefer not to become prey.  Using the jungle as a learning tool, it is evident that the main differential between prey and predator is strength of the predator and the perceived weakness of the prey.  In the jungle it is not always one against one.  Smaller predators band together to attack, and they attack the weakest member of the prey group.  That weakness can be due to a plethora of causes and is easily perceived by the predatory individual or pack.  The result is the weak don’t eat, they are eaten.  For the most part, the jungle inhabitants are well aware of their placement on the food chain as well as who or what is intent on using them for fodder.

The law is certain. If you appear weakened you will be prey. If you appear weakened you will be attacked.

If you are weak you will become food.

Like it or not, we humans are part of the animal kingdom and our specific countries exist in a worldwide jungle.  Strength matters.  Weakness invites attack.  The difference between predator and prey depends on perception.

The perception:  The United States of America has been perceived as one of the World’s strongest countries.  If not feared it has at least been respected as such.  We have been attacked on our own soil and we terminated those responsible.  Our strength has been made evident as fact to the rest of the World’s inhabitants.

Our society has conflicted purpose in our quest to stay non-prey and still be above the rest of the human race in terms of the kindness factor.  We are seeing the result of waging a war without the intent of winning.  We have been in the Afghan conflict for twenty years simply because our rules of engagement removed our teeth.  We gave the predators the perception of a Lion with no teeth but still strong enough to fear.  This is true until we allowed the appearance of our strength to deteriorate.  Our point of actual weakness, that of internal sickness, has given packs of predators the invitation to test our strength and our resolve.  We have allowed: our educational system to infect our children; our politicians to play for their party rather than for our country; The unraveling of unity into tribal groups; the weakening of law and order; the loss of our news outlets as points of truth in favor of being a indoctrination device; and the failure of our method of choosing leaders.  The appearance of the ailing, sick Lion with no teeth invited the larger predators to start circling preparing for an eventual meal of Lion.

Is the final scent of weakness the fact that the smaller pack of predators were able to nip and attack the Lion?

Or is it the loss of principle in the abdication of responsibility toward our friends and allies?

PRAY THAT OUR CURRENT APPEARANCE OF WEAKNESS IS NOT PROPHETIC OF OUR BECOMING INTERNATIONAL PREY

NOT-HAPPY BUT THANKFULL... 7/7/2021

Having been born during the patriotic era of WWII, my July 4th's have always been a source of an inner pride, of belonging to something larger than mankind.

Growing up in a small country town, where we all knew each other, there were bound to be the occasional disagreements among individual, but on that day we were all the same and in agreement, we were all proud Americans.  We watched our cowboy ranchers ride their horses, the farmers with their tractors and the school-children as the all traversed the length of Main Street.  We were a community.  In the years that followed, that idyllic period of my life, I have witnessed a steady movement toward the reverse side of that patriotic public sentiment.  Sentiment driven by the horrific results of the first “Atomic Bomb” resulted in a national guilt rather than the understanding of the number of lives actually saved by that war winning action.

As our family members, who served our country, from the European WWII and from the Pacific Japanese front, returned home, they were welcomed and given a chance to prove their value as neighbors and friends.  Our educational system was in sync with our country’s attitude.  We were taught about the country’s birth, the men who fought for and achieved the rights the rest of our people have partaken of in the decades that followed 1776.  Men like the rest of us, with warts and all, took our people out from under the thumbs of any ruler and laid individual destiny into our own hands.

That one document, celebrated on the fourth of July, brought individual freedom not only to our country but set the example for other countries to establish their own form of citizen governance.

Our country has been under attack by friend and foe alike in the form of those who would make us believe that our people were not as caring, nor as loving of our fellow humans, as we should be.

Those attitudes and beliefs that made us the United States of America have also made us vulnerable.  The result of that vulnerability is what we have today.  We have finally reached the point of our society being splintered into so many fragments re-unification will not be attained without attacking the propaganda emanating from our educational and public media outlets.

Our body politic has decided that power is more important than our nation’s people. Political factions have decided that wining should be a game and that the rules of honesty and truth are no longer part of serving our society.  Our news reporting media seems to have been transformed from a non biased factual reporting function to a propaganda outlet of whichever political faction suits the owners are backing up.  Our educational system shifted from teaching our new members of the profession to push sociological change rather than the traditional reading writing and arithmetic to the future of our country, our children.

The thankful part of this diatribe is that God is not dead, Christmas is still Christmas, the majority of our people still love and appreciate our neighbors, regardless of race, color, or creed.  Contrary to, what some would have us believe,  the facts prove that the majority of the world’s population look to our country for our leadership, our innovations, our charity and our basic societal belief…

WE WERE ALL CREATED WITH THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE OUR DIRECTIONS IN LIFE, THE RIGHT TO STRIVE FOR AND ACHIEVE OUR HIGHEST GOOD…  GOD BLESSED AMERICA, AND WE CONTINUE TO MOVE TOWARD PERFECTION.

THAT'S RICH FOLKS

WOW!

November 2020 saw the emergence of the first President of color put himself back into our national discourse.  Yep it was the same President, that the systemic racist WHITE folks in our country, voted to loan our white house too.  The same President who spent eight years in the White House setting the table for the election of President Donald J. Trump. “Is there anyone in our population who doesn’t recall who said “You can keep your doctor”?  Who said, “Ours will be the most transparent administration”?  Who was it that said “Hope and Change” would be a good thing.  In some states, if a car salesman made such statements and gave a similar grade of product in place of the car advertised, he might well face hefty fines and in egregious cases jailed for fraud.”*

To listen to Mr. Obama call Donald Trump unqualified and unfit to be President is almost laughable were it not such a giant lapse of recall.  Mr. Obamas credentials and qualifications did not even exist at the time we elected him President.

Thanks to the standard bash Trump media, Past POTUS Obama once again stepped up to the camera’s eye, facing bravely, tough questions that would allow him opportunity, once again, to further bash the Trump presidency and Trump personally.  Mr. Obama, with sincere pompocity, said “he (President Trump), should “PUT COUNTRY FIRST”

Hearing Mr. Obama infer that President Trump is harming the office of President of the United States of America made even me doubt my memories abilities of recall.  Here are a few things, of many, that the Obama administration orchestrated: The international mea culpa tour**; Obamacare; one and one-half billion dollars to Iran; outsourcing of businesses to China; disruption of our relationship with Israel; re-establishing diplomatic relationship with Cuba; and the list goes on, and on, and on.

To hear Mr. Obama, chide our current President, touting the non-acceptance of the past election as being harmful to our system and to our country, was vomit inducing.  Mr. Obama kept his silence during the last four years of his Democrat Donkey Congress, the mass Media, the intelligentsia claiming the Trump presidency as illegitimate.  Where was his sage advise as he aided and ignored the fake Russia hoax in an attempt to disrupt the Trump administration?  Where was he as he listened to the media spew propagandic falsehood and innuendo backing up the false narrative?

The past President, as a constitutional lawyer, must be ashamed of himself as he tries to make us believe that Trumps efforts, to complete the election under the constitution, are not legitimate and called for by it.  I would hate to think that Mr. Obama is a liar.***

Mr. Obama “did not concentrate on improving race relationships in our country, improving the problems of his race within their own communities, showing young people the advantage of education,, exemplifying the opportunities provide for people of all color and creed within the boundaries of our great country. He did not use the strength and power of our country to make the world a better and safer place.  He did not provide a better standard of living for any section of our society.  He did not unify our country.  The list could go on ad infinitum.  Just ask yourself what would you have done?”****

For Mr. Obama to fly the “false flag” of patriotism, is a really rich way of calling all “WE THE PEOPLE” ignorant and to uneducated to recognize his attempts, to make his prejudice against our nation and its history cause a fundamental change for what it really was.

IT'S A OATH

Oath of Office for Members of Congress. “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter.

support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic

IS THIS WHAT WE ARE GETTING?

The 12th Amendment to the Constitution,1 which supersedes Article II, § 1, clause 3, was adopted so as to make impossible the situation that occurred after the election of 1800 in which Jefferson and Burr received tie votes in the electoral college, thus throwing the selection of a President into the House of Representatives, despite the fact that the electors had intended Jefferson to be President and Burr to be Vice President.2 The difference between the procedure that the Amendment defines and the original is in its providing for a separate designation by the electors of their choices for President and Vice President, respectively. As a consequence of the disputed election of 1870, Congress enacted a statute providing that if the vote of a state is not certified by the governor under seal, it shall not be counted unless both Houses of Congress concur.3
A number of provisions of the Amendment have been superseded by the Twentieth Amendment.

While the oath of office does not mention the process of election or the measure of elections results on a national basis it does give that function to the states.  The thing it does mandate are the dates of performance.  It is my thought that when allegiance is promised, through oath, to the United States of America.

ALLEGIANCE TO A POLITICAL PARTY SHOULD BE SUBSERVIENT TO THE NATIONAL NEEDS.

In order for our republic to survive there are certain things that we as “the people” should be able to trust, and in fact we should demand.  We, as “The People”, should demand a system that strives for the “every vote should count” requirement.  In order for that to occur we must use every possible method to ensure that accuracy in the count, adherence to the law, and collection methods are performed in an honest and factual way.  We know that mistakes can be made, unfortunately we also know that, over the last couple of centuries, irregularities and outright fraudulent practices can and have occurred.  It is imperative that we ferret out wrong doing in order to preserve our faith in the election process.  This is particularly true in the situation where we “The People” are so emotionally invested and divided in belief and practice.  Over the past few years, we have been under the attack of divisive and partisan political and media rhetoric which has led to actual violence in our streets.  That has resulted in the full-fledged doubt of our having a fair and honest election process.  Regardless of which President is actually elected as our Commander in Chief our faith in the process has been damaged.

Should we continue along the same path in our governmental deterioration, by the clapping and cheering  for the team play of political parties, lifelong political office holders, and adherence to ideology, our republic is in danger of obliteration.

How many of We The People are in favor of those who shout and scream:

We will change the United States; Defund the Police; Open our borders; Outsource our products; allow for the theft of our intellectual output; Remove our independence on energy production

Not I

FOR WHO OR FOR WHAT?

Here we go again. It’s time to stand up and be counted.  It’s time to decide what’s really best for me, for you and for our children and their children.  Like it or not we have a responsibility to do this based in fact and truth.  Like it or not we need to vote not for someone, but for the resulting impact of purpose.

In today’s climate of propaganda and miss-direction, information being fed to we the people, for the purpose of selfish self-interest, it is our personal responsibility to seek fact.  Fact is not a feeling about an individual it is about what history has proven in the form of result.   We can’t really rely on how we feel about someone because the human in us is to easily swayed by gossip and innuendo in sync with our individual personalities.  We tend to judge others in agreement with our herd associations.

In our country today we are experiencing the results of herd thought, mob mentality in some, cowardice, greed and apathy in others.  Some of us have taken refuge in the title of the “silent majority” and in our silence, we have given approval to what-ever happens.  Our silence is a condemnation of what we have allowed to take place in our country.  Some of us have even chosen not to vote at all, some choose not to vote for someone we feel is not a good enough person to vote for.  It’s time to vote for what we want to see happen and against what we don’t want to see happen.

This election cycle is not just about a guy called Donald J. Trump, it is about a congress that has spent the last four years chasing a lie.  That lie was perpetrated by some who knew it was false and some who were complicit because of team mentality.  I, for one, would prefer a congressional body that concentrated on the purpose of best for Us.

I also don’t want a society that is ruled by poorly informed anger, a disregard for the rule of law, a lack of respect for our country, our flag, our history.  I don’t want a government that removes the word God from our people’s speech.  I particularly resent a government that dictates what is acceptable speech and what is not.

We need to have an honest look at what has happened to our country, to our large cities, to the increase in crime.  The why, what and who of that is important.  We need to take an in-depth look at our body politic and how it has served our people in the last fifty or so years.  It’s time that we put a limit on the term of influence any one individual can have on their influence on the direction of our country.

In the last three years of the current administration, we saw the greatest economic growth in the history of our country; the reinstatement of our military; the defeat of a murderous caliphate; a reduction of our military’s involvement in the middle east; the lowest unemployment percentages and the highest employment in all minority segments of our population.

We have listened to those who would divide us into every possible group and pitted one against the other just to gain some preference at the ballot box.  False promise and false blames have become a predominate method of reportage in our news media, the one place we have looked to for truth in the past.  That puts the responsibility on each of our shoulders to look at facts not rumor.  You may rest assured that some folks in the past hated the father of our country and Presidents throughout our history, but somehow our country survived.  History is how a President, how an administrations’ accomplishments and failures are judged and pragmatism is a tool of that judgment.

This cycle of choice, in terms of history, is important and the history of administrations is available to study.  We can pragmatically examine the result history of the current administration against that of those seeking to replace it.  We can see the results of the actions our governance, Senate, Congressional, and Judicial.  Do we want another four years of the debacle that has held our nation the captive to a false narrative?  Not I.  Do you want the loss of companies, the loss of jobs, the high cost of pharmaceuticals, the high cost of energy, the reliance on foreign energy sources that we experienced under the previous administration?  We have witnessed one of the greatest reversals of fortune, in our country’s history under the current administration’s leadership.  I, for one put more trust in the promise kept administration than the administration that boasted they were going to fundamentally change the United States of America.  I am more closely aligned to the administration that is proud of who we are as a people and what we represent in the world as country.  I am proud of our flag and our history and don’t consider either as something to denigrate.  I am proud to think that I belong to a culture that continues to march toward the brotherhood of mankind in one nation UNDER GOD.

GOD BLESS THE USA

IRONY, OUR HOUSE OF MIRRORS

IRONY:a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often amusing as a result.

The irony of today is in no way amusing

It seems that we are living in a world comprised of circus mirrors, a world where nothing is what we have hoped for and aspired to be. It’s as if our country and our way of life, once looked upon much as one would view a lush green landscape is suddenly recognized as ravaged by a slow insidious iceberg of hatred, mistrust, and greed.

There are many, in our society that fill our streets with violence, crime and anarchy.  This state of ruination seems to have erupted like a volcano rumbling far beneath for so long and then breaking through the lush green of our country to spew dark ugly hatred over our land.

Those who would see our country, our great experiment of freedoms and opportunity destroyed in the name of control and power, have been allowed to exist much the same as the iceberg or the volcano.  We “the people” have chosen our leaders, (not all), because of what they have sold us, what they may give us rather than what they do for “the people” and the good of the country.

Using the weapons of hatred, mistrust, and the partial truths of oppression to create the fire we watch destroying our streets, our prosperity, and most importantly, destroying our unity as a people.  Our words are no longer to be trusted as positive communication they are being used and miss-used, by some to magnify ills in our national body.  We have allowed propaganda to separate our “one nation under god” into “a nation divided into small tribes” pitted against each other.  I can guarantee that this nation founded under the God fearing and God loving tenants of our Declaration of Independence and the Constitution didn’t prevent Satan from helping with that divisive factor.

We have allowed our good dog to be tethered and our bad dog to roam freely, how ironic that our good intentioned freedom of speech has allowed the tyranny of socialism and communism to infect our body.  Sadly, that is just a symptom, not the cause or the weakness that has allowed that to occur.  We have allowed a societal shift in values to creep through our population. It’s ironic that our desire to allow, anyone person, the freedom to be anything, anyway, anytime, anyplace has created so many more cracks and divisions.  Our desire to be loving, caring, charitable toward all people, we have allowed that to happen with all good intentions not necessarily with wisdom, prudence or in most cases logic.  Centuries of history have shown so many bad actors, literature and the arts have depicted villain after villain, adage has told us so many times “a leopard cannot change its spots” we have however seen snakes shed skin and acquire a new look.

Even with all the warnings we have destroyed what were our family values with the desire to have whatever we want whenever (selfishness and greed).  We have been lulled to complacency with the bounty our nation has provided the majority ignoring, to some degree, the pain and festering anger of those in the minority.  That pain has been intensified by those politicians, race baiters, and educators who use that anger to feed their own purpose.   Not only is it ironic, that those who profess to be on the side of the minority, the poor, the infirm, the elderly, actually cause the most harm and that is much worse than ironic.

The Democratic party has shouted their own praises for representing the little guy by battling the big bad rich guy, for trying to raise the minimum wage, by spending more on education, and most recently for sanctuary cities and releasing those who have broken laws.  The really big one is their defense of abortion which has cost the lives of more under-privileged and minority lives than any other program in our history.  Democrat support of the teacher’s unions in lieu of school choice has been one of the major causes of poor educational provision in those communities.  Finally, they have decided that defunding law enforcement is a good thing.  Really?

They blame our racial problems on systemic racism and I believe they are correct in that assumption, but they have placed the blame on the wrong carrier.  The carrier is not “white privilege”, it is not a corrupt law enforcement population.  Systemic racism exists throughout the rainbow of our country’s skin tones and it exists because of so many, many different reasons.  The main reason is learned reason to fear that have been passed down generationally.

YOU GET

Just a thought...... We get what we let happen with our silence!
I consider myself to be one of the large silent majority that shows up when it’s time to vote but makes sure no-one can know what they really think.  We are now reaping the costs of our silence over the last six decades.  We have allowed our country to be infiltrated, allowed our educational system to deteriorate, have allowed our children to be indoctrinated, allowed our country’s internal history to be twisted and contorted.

The bible tells us “You reap what you sow” but if you don’t sow anything you will be overrun with weeds.  Our silence has led to the current state of anarchy and we have allowed our crop and our children to be transformed from the crop we wanted to field upon field of poison ivy.

It is sad that we have allowed our Judeo-Christian desires to be good stewards of our planet:  love our neighbors, take care of our poor and those in need, to be used to be twisted into the mess we experience today.  We have allowed good to extrapolate into a back door into our society that seeks to transform our nation into something that Marx and Lenin could only dream of.

In multiple quests for personal power and wealth our body politic has been changed from “for the good of country” into how do I get votes.  We have watched politicians buy votes with perks for every different faction our people can be splintered into.

These past few years we have allowed targets to be put on the entire law enforcement contingent and have labeled them with stigma of being racist.  We have placed racism at the top of the list for what our country represents and we have allowed this to happen in our silence.  We have allowed enemies of our society in our educational system to indoctrinate our children while eliminating education regarding the growth and transformation of our country from the time of Columbus and the pilgrims, through wars to gain our country’s freedom. Wars to keep our allies free, WWI and WWII.  We have seen one of our deadliest and costliest war fought on our soil to eliminate the practice of slavery ; a war that led to the assassination of President Lincoln.
These past few weeks we have watched and heard our news media report on the revolution of anarchy that is taking advantage of the moment.

The movement of “Black Lives Matter” as a legitimate message proponent has been infected by the weeds of anarchy.  The racist actions of a few personnel that led to the BLM movement, has cost the lives of many law enforcement individuals of all colors, races, and creeds.  Many of these men and women were assassinated simply because of their occupation as protectors of our neighborhoods.

The pathway to a better place as a country will not be attained through hatred, anger and distrust.  It will not be achieved through teaching our children to fear each other because of color or belief.  It will not be achieved with silence and inaction.  It will not be achieved as long as we allow our nation to be governed by power seekers who maintain their positions in government by false promise and verbal manipulation.

It will most definitely not be achieved through silence and the blind eye of indifference.

It is time for the “Silent Majority” to make their voice heard at the ballot box, make their voices heard throughout the media world, and to take back the education of our children.
GOD BLESS THOSE WHO SERVE OUR COUNTRY AND NOT THEMSELVES

TIME TO RESPOND

After months of trying not to drive myself, my friends, my family, around the bend with all the things and subjects the can push me over the edge....there are too many things cluttering up my mind so here I am again.  Right off the top I can list a few subjects that act as a motivator for my ire.
     The continuation of the 2016 Presidential hate Trump agenda;
     The promotion of Socialistic tenants throughout our educational system;
     Party politics instead of the legislative branch doing what their oath of office requires, working to        achieve what our country needs;
The erosion of ethics and morality in our society; and on and on and on adinfinitum*.
More than enough subjects not mentioned that will make my yadayadyada  continue for years to          come.
and it seems that the same old anti-Trump verbiage from 2016 returns for the 2020 fiasco to come.

RESPONDING TO SEN. FEINSTEIN re: United

Dear Senator Feinstein,

I can understand you opposing our President, and your party’s intent to state disdain over anything President says or does.  I do not understand your reluctance to change path on the N. Korea situation.

Today our President spoke before the United Nations Assembly and made it abundantly clear that the patty-cake policies that have been used to curtail N. Korea’s march of insanity are no longer going to be in use.  President Trump’s unmistakable straight talk regarding N. Korea should not have any false reading on what was said.  That fact, I hope, is easier understood in N. Korea than can be understood by one vested in politics as usual.

Senator, for you to detract from the President’s statement with your purely political complaining is beneath you and your office.  You have been privy to the lame policies that have allowed N. Korea the freedom to increase its nuclear capabilities.  As a private citizen of the independent thinking part of our society, I would like to make you aware of how sick and tired I am of you and your comrades in arms thinking of re-elections rather than the safety and welfare of the lowly little citizens for whom you were supposed to be working for.  You have had decades to prevent the precarious position our country is in at this time in history, but you still have the guts to complain about someone who is standing up to the blackmailing regime that endangers the entire world.  You should be ashamed of yourself.

"GIT'R DONE...."

So much to do and so little time…

There is, as usual, the correlation between the body politic and the body of an individual.  We are in a situation, nationally, the same as any one of us would be in as a result of incision, laziness, fear or plain procrastination.  There is not one of our nation’s ugly situations that could not have been, honestly and effectively, taken care of years ago.  Our politicians and lawmakers have consistently acted not in our country’s best interests but instead have based their decisions on the ballot box.  Our people have enforced that ignorant approach to governance by our what “I want”, selfishness and the “gimmee” syndrome.  Our politicians are like any other animal on our planet that gravitates and relies on the easiest means of gaining sustenance.  They have learned the easiest way to maintain their positions as elected officials is to basically bribe and promise the electorate anything that gets the sheep to follow the gift truck.  We are experiencing the result of a chosen parent who has decided that their two year old child is capable of making decisions for the entire family.  Politicians who cave into the tantrums of ill informed, angry mobs in order to collect them into ideological herds that will repay them at the ballot box, are traitors to their ethical purpose.

Quite a few of us, who are attached to the more conservative ideologies, are upset with POTOS 44 for “kicking the can down the road” need to be honest.  It ain’t the first time all those cans got dented and a bunch of those dents bear the conservative footprints.  Sadly, that “give to get” buy the vote is not the fault of the politicians, it is the fault of whoever has failed to teach how to make rational well informed choices.  What the individual wants is not always what is best for the all.  One of the titles “The art of Selfishness”, pointed out that not all selfishness is bad.  Our country can only sustain itself out of a position of strength on all fronts, out of a sense of cohesiveness and unity that gives opportunity to each and every one of our citizens.  That type of system will only continue if it is governed with factual, logical decisions that will give our country the ability to survive.  The demise of the USA will affect you, me and most of the free world in a detrimental fashion.

Our nation came about through the belief that all men are created equal, that all men have the right for self-determination and the right to choose.  Those tenants cannot be ensured for all of us if we are ruled by the squeaky wheel of selfishness or by the whoredom of political vote purchasing.  Good choices are not going to be made by a society that allows itself to be separated into groups by propaganda that has led individuals to believe that “they” have been and are being treated unfairly by some other group in our country.  Some degree of truth is always a part of propaganda and that is what makes it so insidiously effective.  Unfortunately, like in the case of racism, there are still some pockets of that occurring in our country, but, not all white people, not all people of color, not all Hispanics, not all men, not all women, not all democrats and not all Republicans, not all the wealthy and not all those on welfare are screwing you over or anybody else. The odds are that anyone preaching with the word or the inference of “ALL” is trying to influence you with some form of propaganda and are lying to you.  As individuals we each have an obligation to our neighbors to be reasonable and knowledgeable about the subjects we are asked to vote for.  We have an obligation to be honestly and factually informed before we jump on the bandwagons (demonstrations) of anger that result in personal and property damage in order to bring awareness to a “problem”.  Just a thought: “not everything I believe is true and not everything you say is wrong.” One thing I am 99% sure of, is the statement I just made is true of you too.  We need to start moving our feet out of ideological concrete and start looking for points of agreement rather than the “me right, you wrong” disbelief that puts an end to reason and discussion.

The results of “kicking the can” have our nation on a very precarious cliff with another cliff just about everywhere we turn.  North Korea, Iran, Russia, Syria, Afghanistan on the international Military cliff; our society torn apart by the practice of dividing us into racial and economic components; vicious crime and murder rate in our cities are just a few of the problems that should have been handled and were not.

The solutions for immigration, DACA, our border is not really all that impossible to see solution for, but because of politics the obvious answers are not coming forth.  It should not be that difficult but due to desired appearances, or optics as it is called today, common sense does not and will not prevail.  Stop the illegal border leakage, set up a reasonable means for those under daca to gain citizenship, give illegals a opportunity to become legalized, set up a visitor work program for those who seek employment in our agricultural supply chain.  These all have a way to come to a logical, comprehensive and compassionate solution once we remove the politics.

The answer to ending our longest armed conflict in Afghanistan would not still be happening if it were not for the political correctness of trying to appear as the most humane nation in the history of mankind.  Guilt over the bombing that ended WWII has been politicized to the point of not completely fighting the conflict with the intention of winning.

As for our national debt… if it were your debt, just how much would your be willing to increase your debt load if your earnings were dramatically decreased?

Open your eyes folks, and be totally honest.  We must survive in order to help any one.

God bless our country, our society, our warriors.  Help us to understand and to love our fellow man.

45th PRESIDENTS INAUGURAL SPEECH

Chief Justice Roberts, President Carter, President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, fellow Americans, and people of the world: thank you.

We, the citizens of America, are now joined in a great national effort to rebuild our country and to restore its promise for all of our people.

Together, we will determine the course of America and the world for years to come.

We will face challenges. We will confront hardships. But we will get the job done.

Every four years, we gather on these steps to carry out the orderly and peaceful transfer of power, and we are grateful to President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their gracious aid throughout this transition. They have been magnificent.

Today's ceremony, however, has very special meaning. Because today we are not merely transferring power from one Administration to another, or from one party to another - but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the American People.

For too long, a small group in our nation's Capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost.

Washington flourished - but the people did not share in its wealth.

Politicians prospered - but the jobs left, and the factories closed.

The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country.

Their victories have not been your victories; their triumphs have not been your triumphs; and while they celebrated in our nation's Capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.

That all changes - starting right here, and right now, because this moment is your moment: it belongs to you.

It belongs to everyone gathered here today and everyone watching all across America.

This is your day. This is your celebration.

And this, the United States of America, is your country.

What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people.

January 20th 2017, will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again.

The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.

Everyone is listening to you now.

You came by the tens of millions to become part of a historic movement the likes of which the world has never seen before.

At the center of this movement is a crucial conviction: that a nation exists to serve its citizens.

Americans want great schools for their children, safe neighborhoods for their families, and good jobs for themselves.

These are the just and reasonable demands of a righteous public.

But for too many of our citizens, a different reality exists: Mothers and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities; rusted-out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation; an education system, flush with cash, but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of knowledge; and the crime and gangs and drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed our country of so much unrealized potential.

This American carnage stops right here and stops right now.

We are one nation - and their pain is our pain.  Their dreams are our dreams; and their success will be our success.  We share one heart, one home, and one glorious destiny.

The oath of office I take today is an oath of allegiance to all Americans.

For many decades, we've enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry

Subsidized the armies of other countries while allowing for the very sad depletion of our military

We've defended other nation's borders while refusing to defend our own

And spent trillions of dollars overseas while America's infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay.

We've made other countries rich while the wealth, strength, and confidence of our country has disappeared over the horizon.

One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores, with not even a thought about the millions upon millions of American workers left behind.

The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed across the entire world.

But that is the past. And now we are looking only to the future.

We assembled here today are issuing a new decree to be heard in every city, in every foreign capital, and in every hall of power.

From this day forward, a new vision will govern our land.

From this moment on, it's going to be America First.

Every decision on trade, on taxes, on immigration, on foreign affairs, will be made to benefit American workers and American families.

We must protect our borders from the ravages of other countries making our products, stealing our companies, and destroying our jobs.  Protection will lead to great prosperity and strength.

I will fight for you with every breath in my body - and I will never, ever let you down.

America will start winning again, winning like never before.

We will bring back our jobs. We will bring back our borders.  We will bring back our wealth.  And we will bring back our dreams.

We will build new roads, and highways, and bridges, and airports, and tunnels, and railways all across our wonderful nation.

We will get our people off of welfare and back to work - rebuilding our country with American hands and American labor.

We will follow two simple rules: Buy American and Hire American.

We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world - but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first.

We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to follow.

We will reinforce old alliances and form new ones - and unite the civilized world against Radical Islamic Terrorism, which we will eradicate completely from the face of the Earth.

At the bedrock of our politics will be a total allegiance to the United States of America, and through our loyalty to our country, we will rediscover our loyalty to each other.

When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice.

The Bible tells us, "how good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity."

We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity.

When America is united, America is totally unstoppable.

There should be no fear - we are protected, and we will always be protected.

We will be protected by the great men and women of our military and law enforcement and, most importantly, we are protected by God.

Finally, we must think big and dream even bigger.

In America, we understand that a nation is only living as long as it is striving.

We will no longer accept politicians who are all talk and no action - constantly complaining but never doing anything about it.

The time for empty talk is over.

Now arrives the hour of action.

Do not let anyone tell you it cannot be done.  No challenge can match the heart and fight and spirit of America.

We will not fail. Our country will thrive and prosper again.

We stand at the birth of a new millennium, ready to unlock the mysteries of space, to free the Earth from the miseries of disease, and to harness the energies, industries and technologies of tomorrow.

A new national pride will stir our souls, lift our sights, and heal our divisions.

It is time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget: that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots, we all enjoy the same glorious freedoms, and we all salute the same great American Flag.

And whether a child is born in the urban sprawl of Detroit or the windswept plains of Nebraska, they look up at the same night sky, they fill their heart with the same dreams, and they are infused with the breath of life by the same almighty Creator.

So to all Americans, in every city near and far, small and large, from mountain to mountain, and from ocean to ocean, hear these words:

You will never be ignored again.

Your voice, your hopes, and your dreams, will define our American destiny. And your courage and goodness and love will forever guide us along the way.

Together, We Will Make America Strong Again.

We Will Make America Wealthy Again.

We Will Make America Proud Again.

We Will Make America Safe Again.

And, Yes, Together, We Will Make America Great Again. Thank you, God Bless You, And God Bless America.

IF ONLY

Have you ever had one of those “man, if only I hadda” moments?  Here is a list of a few possibilities that might make the history books (if the facts don’t get rewritten).

If only we hadn’t sold all those weapons to the drug cartels…  some lives may have been saved.  So much for gun control.

If only I hadn’t set up an illegal computer for my government e-mails…. Comey wouldn’t have outed me.

If only I had allowed the congress to read the Obama care act…. Millions of Americans wouldn’t  be going broke

If only I hadn’t pulled all of the troops out of Iraq… Isis wouldn’t be

If only I had done something to prevent Syria from using chemical weapons..  1m civilians would still be alive

If only I had the sent reinforcements requested for Benghazzi.. I wouldn’t have had to lie to the deads family

If only I weren’t such a big liar… I would have had enough credibility to get elected president

If Podesta wasn’t such a jerk..  oh well thanks to Commey and Putin

RESULTS OR REMORSE

O.K., even though I really hate to admit it, I am not known for being able to be patient forever. I also have to admit that I am at my wit's end trying to understand a society that seems intent on committing historical suicide. I have been on this lovely planet for a little over ¾ of a century and in that time I’ve witnessed quite a few examples of self-inflicted pain, but this one is winning the cake.
I have to believe that at least some 98% of our citizens want our country to be healthy, we want what is best for our people, we want to respect and be respected by others.  We want to earn a respectable living, we want to be generous and kind to others, especially those in need.  We want to be honest and fair in our dealings with others and hope for the same in return.  We want to be able to speak our mind and be listened to and, hopefully, we will allow others to do the same.  We all basically want good, not ill, for ourselves and others.  We all want to feel safe and secure and somewhat protected. So how is it that we find ourselves in such a state of national self-abuse?

We have just gone through a time of the most contentious political races that my brain cells can recall.  Our population is still so divided emotionally on issues, both real and contrived.  Divisions and anger that in many other countries would result in a stronger conflict than words would be occurring.  A poem/prayer that I wrote during the election http://arbeeresponds2.blogspot.com/2016/11/a-time-to-pray.html still rings true to me even after the results are in.

Father, I know that you have chosen leaders among men

I know that your wisdom greatly exceeds that of mankind

I pray that whoever is chosen to lead our country

That they will be molded into being a servant of our people and our nation

That they will help our nation return You to the position above all

Amen

The most recent attempt to delegitimize the results of that election brought to mind an even bigger problem, for our society, than that of the despair over the result felt by many on the left side of the political system.  I almost have an empathy for that feeling of displeasure as I have had similar feelings for the last five or six years.  Like most of us I had hopes for good things out of the first President of color, a healing of the old racial animosities for one, and the promise of a government that would work together to make our country onto a higher level.  Imagine my disappointment to some of the actual miss-steps that have occurred since that inauguration.  My displeasure was not a product of false information but of observation of the course of action and the results of those actions.  Early on in that administration, after promising more transparency, closed door activity forced the Affodable Care Act upon our nation.  The lack of transparency and the lack of responsibility took front with the Speakers statement “We don’t know what is in the bill we can find out after it is passed”, and pass it they did.

Now that brings me to the prompting of this outpouring of verbage. My displeasure with the last few years was not a product of race, creed, but of actual visual and auditory verification of what transpired.  Allowing for the partisan nature of the different media outlets was a given and taken into account, but things changed. In a huuuuuuge way.  The internet, the play of Russia, Soros, China, and our own people have joined together to create the total confussion of fact.  We no longer have a press that we can rely on, we can not depend on the next layer of watch dogs on the internet, nor can we trust the words we hear out of the mouths of our politicians  or of the intelligence gathers.  We have seen the politicizing of our legal system.  Most of all our minds and ability to make logical decisions have been attacked by the practice of outright lies and propaganda.  The use of rumor and innuendo has so infected our society, along with the PC movement has infected our country to the point that our country is no longer that bright city on the hill.”  In that we have taken steps to tear down the example that our ”great experiment set” and rejected our destiny.  We have legitimized Satans greatest and oldest weapon, and it seems perfected it, that weapon is the use of partial truth within the lie.

Our nation suffered through the last year and a half of bitter paritisanship and the spreading of rumor, the arguing and the bickering, the name calling and the childish game of he said she said.  The day of the election most of us heaved a large sigh of relief, knowing that the deluge of yadyad dumped by the advertising was soon to end.  We looked forward in anticipation of the end of all the fertilizer that was being spread.  Not so fast folks, sanity would not prevail.  Needless to say, over half of our population got hit in the face with the unexpected pie of Donald J Trump.  Instead of following the adage of a free and non-physical transfer of power, that our country has been known for, the pie fight has escalated far past anything experienced in my lifetime.  In the words of the PEOTUS, SAD.  In the efforts to delegitimize the outcome of the election a frantic search for the means of accomplishing that task have escalated exponentially.

I would suggest a diffent strategy might be in order.  Why not return to the preferred method of power transfer, reject the schoolyard rumor method, and return to truth rather than innuendo.  Since we, the people, have already proven the prognosticators not to be infallible why not give Mr. Trump a chance to lead our country to a better place.  If he fails, does not fulfill his contract with our nation and our people, then we have the opportunity to fire him in the year 2020.  That would be a more adult approach.

Pray for our country, its leaders, and our society.

God bless our warriors, our first responders, and the USA
