A LEGACY OF SHAME

Mr. President,
I am quite sure your hopes as you took the oath of office on January 20,2009 you had the dream of a new world.  The world in which all of your wildest dreams and fantasies’ of one government in charge of all people.  No borders, no more smog or smoke and of course everything funded by the rich.

At the end of the normal term of office, the clamor of praise would drive the world to choose you as the first leader of the United Socialized Countries of the World.

Well sir, those dreams have been smashed, and the fundamentally changed United States of America finds itself reeling under the weight of your ideological meanderings.

Finally to top off all of the above-listed credentials you leave us with the time-honored and respected rule of law in complete shambles.
You leave us with the hope of a transparent government turned into feelings of no hope and distrust.
You leave our country in a state of racial discontent and with outbursts of anarchy.  Nice job sir.
Thank God your reign of disruption has only a short time left.  You and your loyal grovelers have maintained that all of us, that are so absolutely displeased with just about everything you have done, are motivated by racial prejudice.

Not even close to the fact.
The fact is that what mired your tenure in governmental non-action was not about who but rather it was about what you were trying to cram down the throat of a country you inherently disrespect.

I hope you don’t lose any sleep waiting for history to give you the glorious place that you feel you deserve.

People please pray for our country, our leaders past and present, and our society.

Love your neighbor as yourself.

THE COST OF DIVISEIVENESS

THE COST OF DIVISEIVENESS
Through the megaphone of social media, entertainment, and political agenda we are being changed from the one strong nation woven as a strong rope, into a weak and vulnerable handful of individual threads.  We are no longer standing alongside our fellow citizens we are now excluding those who do not think, look or act in accordance with our choices of right and wrong, good and bad, beneficial and evil.  Somewhere along the line of time some of those in our society have chosen to pick and choose what part of our historical norms and mores should be passed on to those who will inherit the residual of what we once were.  We have been bombarded by factions striving for a hearing for acceptance of their particular activity or proclivity by the rest of us.  Right and wrong are being compressed, by each small group, into small boxes of acceptance rather than looking for a way to allow people to live and let live.
Patriotism, religion, family, law enforcement, military, international protectionism, traditional marriage, capitalism, fidelity, honesty, and the differentiation of the sexes are a few of the societal systems under the attack.  Some are pursuing their goals with a single voice and some find ways to yell out their demands within a larger alliance of groups.  The power of collective dissatisfaction is now able to be voiced in the language of political correctness, a tool being effectively used to silence any form of discussion.  One of the most important books in my life is “As a man thinketh”.  The premise is simply that we are each what we believe at our core.  Unfortunately, our national society is no longer united which has resulted in a nation that no longer defines its greater purpose on our planet through agreement.  What the people think is no longer predicated on the “we” but the “me”.  Where we once prized difference of opinion, as a tool of growth and invention, our ingenuity is now stifled by political correctness.  The fact of the matter is this: The control of our future as a country lies in the hands of those shaping the belief systems of our children.  Those educating these young minds have an obligation to teach the facts, teach the ability to choose direction through discernment not through ideology and indoctrination.
The current state of our divided beliefs has resulted in an election process that is no longer for the good of all of us in our country but is not focused on those groups of “sync-think” that will help one or another get elected to office.  Elections are no longer about service to the whole but rather the benefits to the individuals as a means of obtaining votes.  In effect, this is sort of a bribe system.  This has weakened our country economically, militarily, educationally, and morally.   Most certainly our interactions with one another individually and collectively have been damaged.
RACISM
The practice of dividing our society through the rage and the noise of racism has created an environment of distrust, dislike, and downright hatred.  No good can evolve from that environment, there is no good inherent included in it.  There is no method of mutual effort that can exist between any individuals or groups who believe they will be mistreated.

The beliefs that are generated through the clinging of past histories, factual or not, do not allow for the hope that mutual good can be achieved.  As long as groups continue to dwell and cling to negative and historical grievances, instead of the goal of reaching an agreement, discord and its counter-productive results will continue.

I am always cheered by the interactions of young children as the play together, free from the indoctrinations that affect the adult populations.  It is a beautiful thing to see the rainbow of colors, and nationalities forming friendships and actually enjoying one another’s company.  I find it so sad when those individuals living off the promotion of distrust, dislike, and implied discrimination refuse to find avenues to reach the mutual goal of successful lives for all.  A great dis-service to the next generations is being perpetuated by those who permeate young minds with the cancerous beliefs of no hope because of their color, or ethnicity.

Those who indoctrinate the young with the sickness of hatred are in fact criminals, committing a crime not just against their own group but against the whole of humanity.  How much better it would be if the goals were focused on acquiring better lives and futures rather than blaming some proposed enemy for their plight.
this was an interesting study:  https://www.facebook.com/JoeySalads/videos/667060980127419/

The dividers using race are expanding this into a clash between minority groups and the law enforcement community using the numbers game exclusive of percentage.  By denigrating the police they are hurting their communities.  The aberrant factions, in those communities, are allowed to flourish in a safe zone of political correctness.  This also has a detrimental effect on the economic and quality of life components within those communities. When businesses that normally cater to local populations are not safe to function, they don’t exist.  When these businesses no longer exist within the community it costs jobs within the community and it increases the cost of living and the quality of life.  I don’t believe that any normal person would be happy to have drug dealers and criminals setting up shop outside the doorways of their homes.

What is the quality of life for those who fear for their safety on a daily basis, who have been taught to believe they have no hope, have been taught not to trust the police who are supposed to protect them?  How do you get a quality education, with no tax money to support the schools?  No quality teachers because they actually fear the students and the odds of the students attending classes in at best minimal.

The real problems in these communities need to be addressed with a positive solution seeking approach.  Blaming a thousand yesterdays will not provide one viable productive change.

The secret of change has been in plain sight for the last 2000 years.......... Love your neighbor.
It's not going to be by the installation of fear and hatred in the minds of children.

God Bless our Country and our way of life.

BLM HIJACKED

I Miss You Daddy (Police Tribute) https://youtu.be/1XvRQGDsIqs via @YouTube

Time and time again as tragedy strikes our country, as people lose their lives and law enforcement is involved we witness a form of chaos.  I understand the pain of family, friends and community trying to make sense of their loss.   I understand their disbelief that the person who once had that life could have given justification that would allow the police to take that life from them.  I can empathize with that disbelief shouting for an explanation, some reason that could never be adequate in softening the pain they feel.

There is also the element, in the community, of the anger stemming from the frustration of living in a world that seems to treat them as second class citizens.  In a society that is perceived as one forcing a quality of life on one group far inferior to what they see existing in the rest of the world.  Human nature demands that inequality be eliminated.   If the maintenance of that inequality continues over generations an inherent anger boils out of the resentment carrying with it anger, hatred and mistrust.  In that context understanding the BLM movement, as a megaphone shouting enough is enough, is not that difficult.

The African American and Latino communities in our country are also individually divided within themselves.  Those who find their direction as that of striving through life by hard work and integration into the predominantly Caucasian society co-existing with those who see their only hope is in the survival of their clan.

Confrontation is inevitable between the clan and the larger society in which it fights for survival.  The distrust and hatred that flows generation to generation is a form of belief structure that becomes a natural part life.  This belief system, in our society, gains in strength every time a perceived injustice occurs.  Every time a member of their clan is detained, questioned the first inclination is to assume that is a result of bigotry on the part of other party.

That is a condition of society that needs to be questioned and the malignancy cured.  That is something that we need to correct based on mutual understanding but most of all based on reality and fact.  Trying to sort through the perceptions on both sides will demand understanding and concessions to be given by all components of our societal make up.  The fact of the matter is that any of us can feel threatened and intimidated, and we need to be aware that is occasionally justified, just not in all cases.  The BLM has brought that problem, the one of racial inequality, into society’s awareness.  Now the how to fix it stage is in progress, public awareness is demanding that progress.

One day live in a nation where they would not be judged "by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."  Martin Luther King.

The culture that is trying to grow and evolve with-in the United States has been struggling ever since the inception of slavery.  That malignancy has stained our goodness for almost 200 years and has weakened the strength of the cord that bonds us together.  The United States as a country, as a society has achieved things in our world far surpassing that of any in the history of the world.  We are the experiment intent on giving an example as to what can happen to the human race when the individual is given the opportunity to excel.  The stain of slavery is used to paint the whole of the experiment a very nasty color.  That failing, along with some others, continues to be a weapon in the hands of other who would see it fail.  Those others have hijacked, and stolen the message of the BLM movement, they have taken the grief and the pain of honest family and community and used it as a weapon against our way of life.
Some interesting and pertinent informational sites below:

The theft of purpose has no good result for the BLM as the methodology of the Soros funded rioters is not intended to find any solutions.  Their intent is on creating anarchy, raising the temperature of hatred and resentment within our borders.  The MSMedia, and some politicians are complicit, driven by ideology, they feed the narrative expanding the anti-American sentiment.  These factions are the equivalent in nature to predators and devourers of carrion.

Pray for our Country, our people, and for peace.  Love your neighbor.

A DONKEYS TALE

I don't know how this came into my box of awareness but it did, and I like it, and I would like to share it.

A DONKEYS TALE

One day a farmers’ donkey fell down into a well.  The animal cried piteously for hours until he alerted the farmer to his plight.  The farmer studied the situation and decided that it would be pretty expensive excavate the well and get the animal out of the deep hole it was captured in.  The farmer called together a committee of the neighboring cities smartest politicians and together they decided that the donkey was just too old to spend money on, and that the best solution was to bury the problem and the donkey together so that no one else would know a problem ever existed.
Because the wise people of the committee had suggested this action the farmer agreed to give up his mule, even though it had been faithful and productive, and he had to hire a bunch of laborers who were hanging around the feed store, to help him bury the donkey and fill in the well.  As the laborers continued to shovel dirt the donkey quit crying for help.  Eventually curiosity got the best of the farmer and he looked into the well and was amazed at what he saw.
There was the donkey as calm as he could be, shaking off the dirt that was being thrown in an effort to bury him.  The faster they tried to bury him the quicker he would shake the dirt off, and the farmer noticed that the faster they shoveled the faster the donkey seemed to be closer to getting out of the fix he was in and pretty soon the donkey was able to step out of the well on his own.

Now there are a couple of different morals to this story with more than a few thoughts to ponder.  Here are a few to think about:

1.     Every once in a while we will find ourselves in a hole and usually we get there because we didn’t pay attention to where we were going.
2.     If we are in a bad situation it doesn’t hurt to let those who care know that we could use some help
3.     Everyone gets dirt piled on them in life and it can be used as something that will bury us or as something that will put us in a better position.
4.     If politicians decide how to solve a problem the odds are they never realize the hidden effects of that decision.  Sometimes they get lucky sometimes they don’t.
5.     Don’t give up on yourself.

6.    Don’t trust the government to solve your problems

DREDGING THE PAST

WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE

Once again the subject of Benghazi rears its ugly head.  The queen of the Democratic Party made the phrase “what difference does it make?” part of the standard discourse.  Most of the little people, including me, still have unanswered questions.
Anytime the facts of a circumstance are manipulated to change perception to create a false belief, most of us in our daily lives would say, we have been lied to.  Generally, I will refuse to use the words all, anytime or always because they are so absolute and very seldom lead us to the truth. Truth is and should be an absolute.  In the case of Benghazi, the truth of that circumstance has never been accounted for.
The answer to the question “what difference at this point does it make” requires an answer.  If I were asked this question I would have this answer:  it matters because I don’t like being lied to; I expect honesty from my government; we cannot correct a problem if we are told there is no problem; because of the timing, we as a country may have elected people because of false confidence.  Our country’s standing in the world community is lessened because it is evident that democracy can be easily manipulated by propaganda; most importantly it diminishes the faith and belief that our country stands for what is good in humanity.
Something for us to think about might be how would we react in our personal lives if our friends, spouses, parents, or children manipulated  information constantly to lead us to believe nonexistent facts.  What if they did this to make us perceive them as someone they aren’t?  What do we think about people who sell us products using false claims regarding what those products are or what they can do for us?  How long could we put up with those people being in our lives?

I think most of us are smart enough to know why the facts surrounding Benghazi might have been manipulated.  Why the cause of that heinous act would have looked better if it were caused by a random group of people acting in response to an insult of their religion.  How would it have looked if an incumbent administration looked incompetent just prior to their request to be re-elected?  How would it have looked if a decimated enemy were able to pull off yet another attack on American soil?  We might ask how it looks almost two years later when no one has been held accountable for perpetrating that attack, or for the lack of preparedness, or for the lack of importance placed on the value we call truthfulness.

SQUIRREL FOOD

o.k.  Enough with the foot stomping, hand ringing, temper tantrums.  I fully recognize you staunch strong perfect constitutionally correct conservatives don’t think Trump fits under your banner.  Our country is not just about your specific ideology.  Our country was established for each and every citizen, legally, within the borders, even if those borders are being mishandled.  I don’t know of any conservative, mild or just lukewarm, that wants to see the Executive Branch or the Judicial Branch trampling over the constitution.
This election is not about getting your way on everything.  Our country is much like a freight train with 330 million head of citizens on board.  At this point in history it has gotten onto a track that is headed straight into a wall of solid peril. That train has been picking up speed, accelerating close to maximum speed and we have a chance of altering the course of that train.  If you think you can force that train into making a u-turn you exist in a fantasy world.  If you think for one minute that direction will be reversed completely with just one election cycle you are certifiably nuts!  If you think giving up on this one election cycle won’t be a disaster, you once again are nuts.  If you think this election cycle results can be changed four years from now, you are one giant bag of squirrel food.

Donald Trump was most assuredly not my first choice in this horse race but he is without doubt the only viable choice left in contention.  Getting back to my train analogy, my hope and prayers are not for the u-turn but for enough of a deflection of direction we can get back to the track our founding fathers set us out upon.

The last few years have given us a look at what happens when the progressive liberal faction is in the head office.  Even with a Republican House and Senate, when the veto pen comes out passing anything conservative is virtually impossible.  Equally important is the activity of the Supreme Court.  We have also been witness to what happens when those Justices have tendencies toward progressive views of our Constitution.  A President can be voted out of office. His control can be limited to one, no more than two, terms.
The President can affect our nation for up to forty years with just one appointment to the Supreme Court.  We are facing the possibility of three of those appointments during the next Presidential tenure.  If you think that’s not very important, you had better revisit your thinking ability.

What is the average length of a Justice’s tenure?
The average number of years that Justices have served is 16.
Who was the longest serving Chief Justice?
The longest serving Chief Justice was Chief Justice John Marshall who served for 34 years, 5 months and 11 days from 1801 to 1835.
Who was the first African American Supreme Court Justice?
Associate Justice Thurgood Marshall (1967-1991).
Who was the first Hispanic Supreme Court Justice?
Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor (2009-Present).
Who was the first woman to serve as a Supreme Court Justice?
Associate Justice Sandra Day O’Connor (1981-2006).

I agree, Trump is not perfect but he can change the direction on some impending problems: education, immigration, sanctuary cities, military, rules of military engagement, Guantanamo prisoner releases, inner city crime.

Those are some of the possibilities. The probability of affect is probably around 70% which is a lot better than letting Hillary or any other Democrat from gaining the Executive branch power ring.

Don’t cut of your nose to spite your face fellow conservatives, which would make you look stupid and would make you “Squirrel Food”.

Pray for our country, our people and your neighbor.

God Bless America

UNITY?

What has happened to unity

Our nation is facing one of its most critical junctures since the Civil War period.  We have distinct attitudinal differences about the direction our country should be heading.  We have a portion of our society that believes our past history shows us as an evil entity, as a country built upon periods of time that we need not, nor can we, look upon them with any semblance of pride.   We have a choice between groveling in the muck of the past or being led out of the mire by visions of greatness made possible by honest dissertation of the good inherent in our people.
The last few decades have shown our country changing direction in to a place that is preventing us from achieving a positive outcome.  We see the failure of so many facets in our society, government, education and financial.  Instead of leaders who seek real solutions through honest study of root cause we find those who give lip service to political expediency.  We have not seen any Washington’s, Jefferson’s, or Lincolns who have the leadership quality of conviction and the inner fire to make us rise as one to answer the challenge.  Replacing the unity of our greatest days is a great fragmentation into groups seeking not the greater good but rather the greed of what’s in it for me.  The ethics of the past have eroded.  A growing proportion of our society no longer looks at their position in life as a matter of self-actualization but as a result of someone or something outside of their realm of responsibility.

MEDIA AND PROPAGANDA

Boy, 13, fatally shot by police after pulling out BB gun    September 15, 2016
At what point in time did our press and our media file objectivity and fact in the trash can?
The AP, Yahoo, CBS have all presented the header above in one form or another.  For those skimming the media, as a source of their information, this is just another case of law enforcement run amok.  This use of miss-informational highlighting to grab attention is a disservice of the highest magnitude.

It serves our nation and our society nothing less than one individual person serving arsenic to a school full of children.  This practice of using the nomenclature of news reporting as a hidden editorial commentary is reprehensible.  Unless you take the time to read below the header, and you are already inclined to distrust the police, then that headline only serves to increase your resentment, frustration and anger.

The police in this case were justified. Rather than promoting a false narrative why not encourage a discussion of why a 13 year boy would be involved in the situation.  Why not encourage a discussion as to why he would think pulling a weapon in that situation would be a safe thing to do.  Once again we are able to witness the effects of the law of cause and effect.

In the last couple of years, starting with the Trayvon Martin tragedy, the media has made an effort to portray the victims of police shootings as innocent victims.  They take pains to show pictures of the victims that are misleading in order to gain sympathy on one hand and the probable injustice on the other.  I have to search hard to find any pictures in the news of the 17 year old 5 ft. 11 in. 158 lb. pot smoking, man most often shown as a quiet demure 13 year old boy, real Trayvon Martin at the time of the incident.  It is time we demand truth in reporting because we cannot form our society based on deception.

Our society has gained, from this disservice, a movement full of dissent, anger, revolt and anarchy.  The BLM originated as a result of the misrepresentation of facts.  This misrepresentation has cost the public thousands of dollars resulting from riots, and more importantly, the lives of many in the law enforcement community.

The blood of our fallen police rests firmly on the heads of those who spread false narrative using the megaphone of news reporting media.

Pray for our Country.  Love your neighbor.  Spread hope not dissention.

9/11 THEN AND NOW

Remembering 9/11/2001 and writing about are always equally heart wrenching.  The emotions that are so deeply connected to that series of events affect my life on an almost daily basis.  Fifteen years later the same emotions that flooded over me that morning still grab at me.  What makes it difficult to write about is making a cohesive comment about what resulted in my existing anger, sorrow, pride, and inability to fully understand why.  Intellectually it’s not that difficult as to the why or how but the how can people do such things will forever escape me.

I remember getting up that morning for an early sales meeting, getting into the shower, hearing my wife shouting at me to come
and see the televisions view of a plane flying into the 1st Tower.  Still drying myself off I watched as the second plane, making a slow turn then slamming into the second tower.  Oh my God it was not an accident.  Over the next few hours the horror continued to unfold, the anguish and compassion boiled up inside for all those poor people and their families.  As the buildings failed, the engineering was unable to predict such a cataclysmic event.  So many emotions emerged to fester within me some 15 years later.  The anger is still there, the burning need for revenge has dissipated and morphed into a strong desire to stop any form of hatred and actions formed by indoctrinated ideology.

Today 9/11/2016 I am still trying to gain an understanding of those events, I am still emotionally affected, but I now know who and I know the why.  I watched our people, all races, colors and creeds. The people that make up the cornucopia we call the United States of America.  I watched and felt in my heart as they joined together and in purpose to undertake the task at hand.  It was surely reminiscent of the unity of purpose and prayer that brought us to victory during WWII.  I watched as our people united behind a President we all knew, at that point in time, had our backs and would see our much needed justice.

Today I find myself still rising early and turning on the television to peruse the latest news and political bickering.  This morning the first thing to hit my eyes and ears was the vision of our President.  I very seldom see Barrack H Obama as the President of all of, as a result of so many of my own particular views and his.  Today as he spoke he struck me a solidly the president of all of us.  He spoke of many places in both of our hearts, and once again I felt a spark of unity between citizen and President.  It felt good.

Later on in the broadcast, much of what took place that morning in 2001, the subject of United Flight #93 and the memorial were shown and spoken about.  It reminded me of what makes me so proud of our nation, our flag, and it’s people.

United Airlines flight #93 held 7 crew members, 33 passengers and 4 hijackers.  Watching that show this morning I learned that the memorial had not only the names of those victims on display, but there were tapes of passenger communications.  The plane had been late on its takeoff and because of that many of the passengers were aware of the planes being flown into the towers.  They knew that the terrorists who had taken control of their plane had no intent of landing the plane in one piece.  With the terrorists in charge or the plane they still managed a vote, a vote that saved many lives that day.  What I find so American about their act was not the heroism involved but rather the depth of compassion they had to feel for the people they would save.  Rather than sit still, as frozen in fear victims, they realized they would not survive the day.  They chose to take away the advantage the terrorists held. they chose to use their lives to save the lives of people they didn’t even know.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

When they chose to use their lives to save the lives of people they didn’t even know, was that act even greater?  I think so.  The mentality of sacrifice runs deep within our national dna. Even as we have those who disparage our county, our flag and our anthem there are those who put their bodies, their very lives, at risk for others.

Those men and women deserve our respect.  They deserve to be honored in voices of thanksgiving.  The men and women who serve the rest of us do not deserve to be targets, as pawns in ideologically composed internal disagreement and resentment.

We are fortunate to live in what history will see as the greatest social experiment and achievement since the birth of our species.  We need to start acting out of our best.

God Bless America.  Pray for your neighbor and your enemy.

THEY ARE _ _ _ _ _ HE IS _ _ _ _ _

Propaganda mixed with ideology is a very difficult technique to counteract.  Most Americans are very aware of the use of propaganda during the election cycle.  What is generally missed is the use by our own individually supported side of the conversation.  I use the word conversation loosely.

I’m not sure what we gain in the practice of gross over-generalizations to describe people with whom we disagree.  As a society, we no longer seem to care about fact, truth, honesty or the adverse of these traits.  It is so much easier to use one adjective branding our opponent than it is to take the time to understand what is actually being said.

We don’t want to know the fallacies in our own argument or the logic of the reasoning behind what the other side thinks.

The terms, racist, bigot, xenophobe are some of the most emotionally charged words in the English language.  Those terms are used as a tool to shut down discussion and any chance of mutual understanding.  I view that activity as nothing less than an act of intellectual failure.

In terms of psychology it allows the protection of errant beliefs by denial and by the projection of the traits our society views as abhorrent.  So instead of coming to any sensible or reasonable solution to a subject, the discussion is wasted.

Last night I came across a video on this subject.  The video is a short excerpt from Fox commentator Bill O’Reilly not listened to by most liberal leaning folks.  You may not like him but what he says is pretty much on the head of the nail.

Our country is not short on divisive speech, on hatred and distrust.  What our country needs is civility and productive discourse.
Come on folks we can be so much better.

Pray for our people.  Pray for discernment.  Love your neighbor.

God Bless our country and our people.

REMEMBER 2012

I often repeat myself as it seems some things just don’t change to my liking.  The lack of those changes brings me to the act of reviewing my own scribblings. Occasionally I find myself wanting to repeat my own words in regards to our nation’s societal and political activity.

What I found interesting was a post made just before one of the 2012 Presidential debates on subjects still in our present Presidential choice dialogue.

The failures of the Obama/Clinton foreign policies regarding Lybia. The falsehoods perpetrated in order to cover up what happened in Benghazi. The discovery of classified e-mails being lost, misplaced and destroyed in the process of the cover up.   Those same subjects are an integral part in current Presidential selection.

The truth and fact surrounding Benghazi will not change. Hopefully, the strength of the ideology, trying to hide them, will disapate.

The following is from a post on my earlier blog dated September 13, 2012:

Another anniversary took place this week.  While we in the United States were intent on paying our respects to the lives lost to Islamic extremists on September 11, 2001, Islamic Fundamentalists had another hate filled act in mind.  Knowing that 9/11 is a sensitive date to the Islamists, our country failed to be vigilant and as a result American lives were again lost on American soil.
The current administration’s policy of “don’t offend the Muslim population of the world” exhibits the utmost naiveté and endangers our country and that of our allies.  There should be no doubt as to the tinder box the Middle East psychology is in reality, but this administration tries to act as if the Shariaist extremists are not our enemy.
The administration’s policies of appeasement neglect utilization of information gathering capabilities and all resources available to keep our nation and our citizens free of attack.  The dream of “hope”, that all would be “lion lying with the lamb”, has proven to be a nightmare.  The numerous times this administration has thrown our country to the wolves in favor of a one world order, will be shown in history to be a massive trigger toward “Armageddon”.  Those who are ashamed of the United States position, as a powerful sheriff, need to put fact in front of fantasy.  It has been through the actions of the United States that there is a “Free World”.  Abdication of that responsibility, through weakening of our military, will lead to worldwide anarchy.  The riots in Libya and Egypt, along with the ongoing farce of talks with Iran, translate in the Middle East as American weakness.
Nature has been a system of survival of the fittest, regardless of what is or is not pleasing.  When we appear weak, we incite violence against our people and our country.  We have shown our weakness to a myriad of governments and ideologues who would gladly join together to cause the downfall of the United States of America.  The fact that China, Russia and Iran have scheduled joint naval war games, that China and Russia have blocked every peaceful resolution to Iran’s nuclear program, is a sign not to be ignored.  The Mid-Eastern saying that your enemy is my enemy takes on a great meaning.  We do not dare ignore the threat to our country created by the “Appeasement Doctrine” of this administration.

As we come to decision making time we have the choice of electing one of the architects of the failed policies or a man with no “political” experience.
An old adage says “fool me once, shame on you.  Fool me twice shame on me.”  Well we have already been down the road twice.

Pray for our country, and our people.  Pray for discernment and the return of morality.  Love your neighbor.

God bless our country.

OPPORTUNITY SQUANDERED

I came across this in an e-mail that I hope the NSA was able to get into the Presidents hands.  It brought to mind all of the things that could have been accomplished in his tenure.  Why would such an opportunity of position be so wasted on politics?

It is far too easy to pick and choose from all of the things he has concentrated on that we disagree with.  It is also very easy to bring to point all of the methods of harming our heritage and way of life.  Complaining is the easy part of looking at Mr. O and his administration.  The saddest thing about this is not what he has done or caused to happen but more disheartening is what he could have done but didn't.  He did not concentrate on improving race relationships in our country, improving the problems of his race within their own communities, showing young people the advantage of education,, exemplifying the opportunities provide for people of all color and creed within the boundaries of our great country. He did not use the strength and power of our country to make the world a better and safer place.  He did not provide a better standard of living for any section of our society.  He did not unify our country.  The list could go on ad infinitum.  Just ask yourself what would you have done?

the ?? OF ABORTION

Today it has really struck me as to just how many in our country view abortion as a freedom. It is viewed as a right of womanhood to disallow the birth of a child. Yet the majority of Americans abhor the deaths of humans in any other form. This subject encompasses all varieties of underlying beliefs and feelings, as well as creating new moral and ethical dilemmas for our society and as individuals. Abortion has given rise to both political and religious groups on both sides of the issue.

Our society has increasingly become “me “orientated over the last century and our ethical moral sensitivities have adjusted accordingly. This is not unusual and is something that has occurred many times over the course of history. Our society is no different. The question will eventually boil down to who and what comprises human decency towards another human, and at what point does the human animal come into being.

We as a society have taken a role and position of total permissiveness sexually and that has driven the numbers of abortions to the high numbers we now see. This permissiveness is exacerbated in our educational system by trying to treat the symptom of pregnancy as a matter of prevention rather than a matter of responsibility that should be part of parenting. As those children move into young adulthood choosing sex as a recreational activity because they have the ability and the right to do whatever, is also a matter of responsibility that should have been taught to them by their parents as a part of parenting responsibilities. Our children need to be taught it is not ok to do everything they feel like and that the things they do have consequences. If you have sex when you can’t afford to give up your life for your children’s food, clothing and lodging, don’t have sex. At some point in time the reality of your action will come back to slap your psyche. The taking of your child’s life will be a hurt that bandages can’t cure for you.

The fact that our society accepts termination of life as an alternative form of contraception is a terminal sickness that should not be condoned by any of us. If you have an unwanted child inside your body, give it to someone who cares. Adoptions are a much better solution. It gives your child a chance at greatness and the new parents an opportunity for unimaginable love.

There was a time in my life when I was not in solid belief regarding God and His Son Jesus Christ. During that lapse, I considered the abortion of one of my children. It was a decision based on not wanting to ruin a relationship with another of my children by having to share love with two rather than one. I am happy to say that the birth came to fruition, and because of that the world is a richer place. I also found out that love is an unlimited, boundless blessing from an all understanding God.

Pray for our country.  Pray for our children.

God bless us all.

GHETTO EMPLOYMENT

Raising the “minimum wage” will guarantee less employment opportunities.
From deep in my previous postings:

Bringing in 60,000 refugees (without proper vetting) and placing them in low income under serviced areas of our cities is a plan formulated to garner votes and to keep those areas in need. It’s another means of holding back the young men and women in these areas.  Just another way to guarantee the inner-city populations need for the welfare state mentality.  Without the need for government assistance (which is a real need) there is no real cause behind the Democrat platforms.
“The one who is given fish never learns to fish for his own food and eventually will become a slave to the one who keeps feeding him.
I have always found it hard to understand why someone would choose to jump from one form of enslavement right into the same situation with the only difference being the name.  I don’t get why the methodology of that enslavement is so difficult to see.  There is such an evident line of progression from plantation to ghetto and the insidious political methodology used just to gain power.
If you want control over a group of people it is easier to do if:  you keep them hungry; give them no opportunity; deny them education; give power to crime; give them drugs to dull the mental pain of no hope.  Make them dependent then thankful.  Sound familiar?
The use of this technique by the party of “Donkey” is morally reprehensible.  The tenacious grip on our citizens of color is particularly cruel.
What is truly sad is the fact that resentment and division between races is becoming more prevalent with each generation as the truth of cause becomes hidden.  Our society has fought so hard to fight against the racism that existed, white for black.  Like it or not, admit it or not, anger over the past wrongs and the continued indoctrination used to create today’s resentments, serves no positive purpose.
If you want a better life, make one.  If you want a better world, make one.  If you are tired of enslavement, don’t accept it.
Pray for our country. Pray for understanding.  Pray for your neighbor.

God bless the USA.

9-1-16 TRUMPS IMMIGRATION POLICY SPEECH

I have just landed having returned from a very important and special meeting with the President of Mexico – a man I like and respect very much, and a man who truly loves his country. Just like I am a man who loves the United States.
We agreed on the importance of ending the illegal flow of drugs, cash, guns and people across our border, and to put the cartels out of business.
We also discussed the great contributions of Mexican-American citizens to our two countries, my love for the people of Mexico, and the close friendship between our two nations.
It was a thoughtful and substantive conversation. This is the first of what I expect will be many conversations in a Trump Administration about creating a new relationship between our two countries.
But to fix our immigration system, we must change our leadership in Washington. There is no other way.
The truth is, our immigration system is worse than an
one realizes. But the facts aren't known because the media won't report on them, the politicians won't talk about them, and the special interests spend a lot of money trying to cover them up.
Today you will get the truth.
The fundamental problem with the immigration system in our country is that it serves the needs of wealthy donors, political activists and powerful politicians. Let me tell you who it doesn't serve: it doesn't serve you, the American people.
When politicians talk about immigration reform, they usually mean the following: amnesty, open borders, and lower wages.
Immigration reform should mean something else entirely: it should mean improvements to our laws and policies to make life better for American citizens.
But if we are going to make our immigration system work, then we have to be prepared to talk honestly and without fear about these important and sensitive issues.
For instance, we have to listen to the concerns that working people have over the record pace of immigration and its impact on their jobs, wages, housing, schools, tax bills, and living conditions. These are valid concerns, expressed by decent and patriotic citizens from all backgrounds.
We also have to be honest about the fact that not everyone who seeks to join our country will be able to successfully assimilate. It is our right as a sovereign nation to choose immigrants that we think are the likeliest to thrive and flourish here.
Then there is the issue of security. Countless innocent American lives have been stolen because our politicians have failed in their duty to secure our borders and enforce our laws.
I have met with many of the parents who lost their children to Sanctuary Cities and open borders. They will be joining me on the stage later today.
Countless Americans who have died in recent years would be alive today if not for the open border policies of this Administration. This includes incredible Americans like 21-year-old Sarah Root. The man who killed her arrived at the border, entered federal custody, and then was released into a U.S. community under the policies of this White House.
He was released again after the crime, and is now at large.
Sarah had graduated from college with a 4.0, top of her class, the day before.
Also among the victims of the Obama-Clinton open borders policies was Grant Ronnebeck, a 21 year-old convenience store clerk in Mesa, Arizona. He was murdered by an illegal immigrant gang member previously convicted of burglary who had also been released from Federal Custody.
Another victim is Kate Steinle, gunned down in the Sanctuary City of San Francisco by an illegal immigrant deported five previous times.
Then there is the case of 90 year-old Earl Olander, who was brutally beaten and left to bleed to death in his home. The perpetrators were illegal immigrants with criminal records who did not meet the Obama Administration's priorities for removal.
In California, a 64 year-old Air Force Veteran, Marilyn Pharis, was sexually assaulted and beaten to death with a hammer. Her killer had been arrested on multiple occasions, but was never deported.
A 2011 report from the Government Accountability Office found that illegal immigrants and other non-citizens in our prisons and jails together had around 25,000 homicide arrests to their names.
On top of that, illegal immigration costs our country more than $113 billion dollars a year. For the money we are going to spend on illegal immigration over the next ten years, we could provide one million at-risk students with a school voucher.
While there are many illegal immigrants in our country who are good people, this doesn't change the fact that most illegal immigrants are lower-skilled workers with less education who compete directly against vulnerable American workers, and that these illegal workers draw much more out from the system than they will ever pay in.
But these facts are never reported.
Instead, the media and my opponent discuss one thing, and only this one thing: the needs of people living here illegally.
The truth is, the central issue is not the needs of the 11 million illegal immigrants – or however many there may be.
That has never been the central issue. It will never be the central issue.
Anyone who tells you that the core issue is the needs of those living here illegally has simply spent too much time in Washington.
Only out of touch media elites think the biggest problem facing American society today is that there are 11 million illegal immigrants who don't have legal status.
To all the politicians, donors and special interests, hear these words from me today: there is only one core issue in the immigration debate and it is this: the well-being of the American people. Nothing even comes a close second.
Hillary Clinton, for instance, talks constantly about her fears that families will be separated. But she's not talking about the American families who have been permanently separated from their loved ones because of a preventable death.
No, she's only talking about families who came here in violation of the law.
We will treat everyone living or residing in our country with dignity. We will be fair, just and compassionate to all. But our greatest compassion must be for American citizens.
President Obama and Hillary Clinton have engaged in gross dereliction of duty by surrendering the safety of the American people to open borders. President Obama and Hillary Clinton support Sanctuary Cities, they support catch-and-release on the border, they support visa overstays, they support the release of dangerous criminals from detention – and they support unconstitutional executive amnesty.
Hillary Clinton has pledged amnesty in her first 100 days, and her plan will provide Obamacare, Social Security and Medicare for illegal immigrants – breaking the federal budget. On top of that, she promises uncontrolled low-skilled immigration that continues to reduce jobs and wages for American workers, especially African-American and Hispanic workers. This includes her plan to bring in 620,000 new refugees in a four-year term.
Now that you've heard about Hillary Clinton's plan – about which she has not answered a single substantive question – let me tell you about my plan.
While Hillary Clinton meets only with donors and lobbyists, my plan was crafted with the input from federal immigration officers, along with top immigration experts who represent workers, not corporations. I also worked with lawmakers who've led on this issue on behalf of American citizens for many years, and most importantly, I've met with the people directly impacted by these policies.
Number One: We will build a wall along the Southern Border.
On day one, we will begin working on an impenetrable physical wall on the southern border. We will use the best technology, including above-and below-ground sensors, towers, aerial surveillance and manpower to supplement the wall, find and dislocate tunnels, and keep out the criminal cartels, and Mexico will pay for the wall.
Number Two: End Catch-And-Release
Under my Administration, anyone who illegally crosses the border will be detained until they are removed out of our country.
Number Three: Zero tolerance for criminal aliens.
According to federal data, there are at least 2 million criminal aliens now inside the country. We will begin moving them out day one, in joint operations with local, state and federal law enforcement.
Beyond the 2 million, there are a vast number of additional criminal illegal immigrants who have fled or evaded justice. But their days on the run will soon be over. They go out, and they go out fast.
Moving forward, we will issue detainers for all illegal immigrants who are arrested for any crime whatsoever, and they will be placed into immediate removal proceedings. We will terminate the Obama Administration's deadly non-enforcement policies that allow thousands of criminal aliens to freely roam our streets.
Since 2013 alone, the Obama Administration has allowed 300,000 criminal aliens to return back into U.S. communities – these are individuals encountered or identified by ICE but who not detained or processed for deportation.
My plan also includes cooperating closely with local jurisdictions to remove criminal aliens.
We will restore the highly successful Secure Communities program. We will expand and revitalize the popular 287(g) partnerships, which will help to identify hundreds of thousands of deportable aliens in local jails. Both of these programs have been recklessly gutted by this Administration. This is yet one more area where we are headed in a totally opposite direction.
On my first day in office, I am also going to ask Congress to pass "Kate's Law" – named for Kate Steinle – to ensure that criminal aliens convicted of illegal reentry face receive strong mandatory minimum sentences.
Another reform I am proposing is the passage of legislation named for Detective Michael Davis and Deputy Sheriff Danny Oliver, two law enforcement officers recently killed by a previously-deported illegal immigrant. The Davis-Oliver bill will enhance cooperation with state and local authorities to ensure that criminal immigrants and terrorists are swiftly identified and removed.
We are going to triple the number of ICE deportation officers. Within ICE, I am going to create a new special Deportation Task Force, focused on identifying and removing quickly the most dangerous criminal illegal immigrants in America who have evaded justice.
The local police know who every one of these criminals are. There's no great mystery to it, they've put up with it for years. And now, finally, we will turn the tables and law enforcement will be allowed to clear up this dangerous and threatening mess.
We're also going to hire 5,000 more Border Patrol agents, and put more of them on the border, instead of behind desks. We will expand the number of Border Patrol Stations.
I've had a chance to spend time with these incredible law enforcement officers, and I want to take a moment to thank them. The endorsement I've received from the Border Patrol officers means more to me than I can say.
Number Four: Block Funding For Sanctuary Cities
We will end the Sanctuary Cities that have resulted in so many needless deaths. Cities that refuse to cooperate with federal authorities will not receive taxpayer dollars, and we will work with Congress to pass legislation to protect those jurisdictions that do assist federal authorities.
Number Five: Cancel Unconstitutional Executive Orders & Enforce All Immigration Laws
We will immediately terminate President Obama's two illegal executive amnesties, in which he defied federal law and the constitution to give amnesty to approximately 5 million illegal immigrants.
Hillary Clinton has pledged to keep both of these illegal amnesty programs – including the 2014 amnesty which has been blocked by the Supreme Court. Clinton has also pledged to add a third executive amnesty.
Clinton's plan would trigger a Constitutional Crisis unlike almost anything we have ever seen before. In effect, she would be abolishing the lawmaking powers of Congress in order to write her own laws from the Oval Office.
In a Trump Administration, all immigration laws will be enforced. As with any law enforcement activity, we will set priorities. But, unlike this Administration, no one will be immune or exempt from enforcement – and ICE and Border Patrol officers will be allowed to do their jobs. Anyone who has entered the United States illegally is subject to deportation – that is what it means to have laws and to have a country.
Our enforcement priorities will include removing criminals, gang members, security threats, visa overstays, public charges – that is, those relying on public welfare or straining the safety net, along with millions of recent illegal arrivals and overstays who've come here under the current Administration.
Number Six: We Are Going To Suspend The Issuance Of Visas To Any Place Where Adequate Screening Cannot Occur
According to data provided to the Senate Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest, between 9/11 and the end of 2014, at least 380 foreign-born individuals were convicted in terror cases inside the United States. The number is likely higher, but the Administration refuses to provide this information to Congress.
As soon as I enter office, I am going to ask the Department of State, Homeland Security and the Department of Justice to begin a comprehensive review of these cases in order to develop a list of regions and countries from which immigration must be suspended until proven and effective vetting mechanisms can be put into place.
Countries from which immigration will be suspended would include places like Syria and Libya.
For the price of resettling 1 refugee in the United States, 12 could be resettled in a safe zone in their home region.
Another reform involves new screening tests for all applicants that include an ideological certification to make sure that those we are admitting to our country share our values and love our people.
For instance, in the last five years, we've admitted nearly 100,000 immigrants from Iraq and Afghanistan – in these two countries, according to Pew research, a majority of residents say that the barbaric practice of honor killings against women are often or sometimes justified.
Applicants will be asked for their views about honor killings, about respect for women and gays and minorities, attitudes on Radical Islam, and many other topics as part of the vetting procedure.
Number Seven: We will ensure that other countries take their people back when we order them deported
There are at least 23 countries that refuse to take their people back after they have been ordered to leave the United States, including large numbers of violent criminals. Due to a Supreme Court decision, if these violent offenders cannot be sent home, our law enforcement officers have to release them into U.S. communities. There are often terrible consequences, such as Casey Chadwick's tragic death in Connecticut just last year. Yet, despite the existence of a law that commands the Secretary of State to stop issuing visas to these countries, Secretary Hillary Clinton ignored this law and refused to use this powerful tool to bring nations into compliance.
The result of her misconduct was the release of thousands of dangerous criminal aliens who should have been sent home.
According to a report from the Boston Globe, from the year 2008 through 2014, nearly 13,000 criminal aliens were released back into U.S. communities because their home countries would not take them back. Many of these 13,000 releases occurred on Hillary Clinton's watch – she had the power and the duty to stop it cold and she didn't do it.
Those released include individuals convicted of killings, sexual assault and some of the most heinous crimes imaginable, who went on to reoffend at a very high rate.
Number Eight: We will finally complete the biometric entry-exit visa tracking system.
For years, Congress has required a biometric entry-exit visa tracking system, but it has never been completed.
In my Administration, we will ensure that this system is in place at all land, air, and sea ports. Approximately half of new illegal immigrants came on temporary visas and then never left. Beyond violating our laws, visa overstays pose a substantial threat to national security. The 9/11 Commission said that this tracking system should be a high priority and "would have assisted law enforcement and intelligence officials in August and September 2001 in conducting a search for two of the 9/11 hijackers that were in the U.S. on expired visas."
Last year alone, nearly a half a million individuals overstayed their temporary visas. Removing visa overstays will be a top priority of my Administration. If people around the world believe they can just come on a temporary visa and never leave – the Obama-Clinton policy – then we have a completely open border. We must send the message that visa expiration dates will be strongly enforced.
Number Nine: We will turn off the jobs and benefits magnet.
We will ensure that E-Verify is used to the fullest extent possible under existing law, and will work with Congress to strengthen and expand its use across the country.
Immigration law doesn't exist just for the purpose of keeping out criminals. It exists to protect all aspects of American life – the worksite, the welfare office, the education system and much else. That is why immigration limits are established in the first place. If we only enforce the laws against crime, then we have an open border to the entire world.
I will enforce all of our immigration laws.
The same goes for government benefits. The Center for Immigration Studies estimates that 62 percent of households headed by illegal immigrants used some form of cash or non-cash welfare programs, like food stamps or housing assistance. This directly violates the federal public charge law designed to protect the U.S. treasury.
Those who abuse our welfare system will be priorities for removal.
Number 10: We will reform legal immigration to serve the best interests of America and its workers
We've admitted 59 million immigrants to the United States between 1965 and 2015.
Many of these arrivals have greatly enriched our country. But we now have an obligation to them, and to their children, to control future immigration – as we have following previous immigration waves – to ensure assimilation, integration and upward mobility.
Within just a few years immigration as a share of national population is set to break all historical records.
The time has come for a new immigration commission to develop a new set of reforms to our legal immigration system in order to achieve the following goals:
To keep immigration levels, measured by population share, within historical norms to select immigrants based on their likelihood of success in U.S. society, and their ability to be financially self-sufficient. We need a system that serves our needs – remember, it's America First. To choose immigrants based on merit, skill and proficiency and to establish new immigration controls to boost wages and to ensure that open jobs are offered to American workers first. We want people to come into our country, but they have to come in legally and properly-vetted, and in a manner that serves the national interest.
We've been living under outdated immigration rules from decades ago. To avoid this happening in the future, I believe we should sunset our visa laws so that Congress is forced to periodically revise and revisit them. We wouldn't put our entire federal budget on autopilot for decades, so why should we do the same for immigration?
Let's talk about the big picture
These ten steps, if rigorously followed and enforced, will accomplish more in a matter of months than our politicians have accomplished on this issue in the last fifty years.
Because I am not a politician, because I am not beholden to any special interest, I will get this done for you and your family.
We will accomplish all of the steps outlined above, and when we do, peace and law and justice and prosperity will prevail. Crime will go down, border crossings will plummet, gangs will disappear, and welfare use will decrease. We will have a peace dividend to spend on rebuilding America, beginning with our inner cities.
For those here today illegally who are seeking legal status, they will have one route and only one route: to return home and apply for re-entry under the rules of the new legal immigration system that I have outlined above. Those who have left to seek entry under this new system will not be awarded surplus visas, but will have to enter under the immigration caps or limits that will be established.
We will break the cycle of amnesty and illegal immigration. There will be no amnesty.
Our message to the world will be this: you cannot obtain legal status, or become a citizen of the United States, by illegally entering our country.
This declaration alone will help stop the crisis of illegal crossings and illegal overstays.
People will know that you can't just smuggle in, hunker down, and wait to be legalized. Those days are over.
In several years, when we have accomplished all of our enforcement goals – and truly ended illegal immigration for good, including the construction of a great wall, and the establishment of our new lawful immigration system – then and only then will we be in a position to consider the appropriate disposition of those who remain. That discussion can only take place in an atmosphere in which illegal immigration is a memory of the past, allowing us to weigh the different options available based on the new circumstances at the time.
Right now, however, we are in the middle of a jobs crisis, a border crisis, and a terrorism crisis. All energies of the federal government and the legislative process must now be focused on immigration security. That is the only conversation we should be having at this time.
Whether it's dangerous materials being smuggled across the border, terrorists entering on visas, or Americans losing their jobs to foreign workers, these are the problems we must now focus on fixing – and the media needs to begin demanding to hear Hillary Clinton's answer on how her policies will affect Americans and their security.
These are matters of life-and-death for our country and its people, and we deserve answers from Hillary Clinton.
What we do know, despite the total lack of media curiosity, is that Hillary Clinton promises a radical amnesty combined with a radical reduction in immigration enforcement. The result will be millions more illegal immigrants, thousands more violent crimes, and total chaos and lawlessness.
This election is our last chance to secure the border, stop illegal immigration, and reform our laws to make your life better.
This is it. We won't get another opportunity – it will be too late.
So I want to remind everyone what we are fighting for – and who we are fighting for.
So I am going to ask all the Angel Moms to come join me on the stage right now.
[[PAUSE FOR ANGEL MOMS – EACH SAYS THE NAME OF THEIR CHILD INTO THE MICROPHONE]]
Now is the time for these voices to be heard.
Now is the time for the media to begin asking questions on their behalf.
Now is the time for all of us, as one country, Democrat and Republican, liberal and conservative, to band together to deliver justice and safety and security for all Americans.
Let's fix this problem.
Let's secure our border.
Let's stop the drugs and the crime.
Let's protect our Social Security and Medicare.
And let's get unemployed Americans off of welfare and back to work in their own country.
Together, we can save American lives, American jobs, and American futures.
Together, we can save America itself.
Join me in this mission to Make America Great Again.

Thank you, and God Bless you all!
