I can’t help but wonder what our ultra-conservative, never-Trump
contingent of our body politic has envisioned the outcome of their
actions.
When I project and look into
the future with a Hillary win looming, I see more than the Oval Office. I see a minimum of half a century under the
judicial thumb of progressive leaning decisions. I see an educational system that refuses to
teach our children the positive factors of our country’s history. I see the shutting down of honest discourse
by the political correctness and divisions created within our society. I see
a military decimated by aversion to the protection of our country through its
strength. I see the loss of freedoms
granted to us in the Declaration of Independence and its legally adopted amendments. I see the evaporation of the moral codes that
have strengthened our society for the last two and one-half centuries. Most of all, I see the evaporation of our
responsibilities as citizens to do everything legally in our power to ensure
the future existence as a morally, socially and economically conservative free
nation.
There is no doubt in my mind that Donald Trump is not the
gilded perfect candidate for the GOP.
There is no doubt that he could well be a loose cannon. Nor is there any doubt as to his past
dalliances with the Democrats on many issues.
However, we all know of things in our own pasts that would belie our beliefs
held in our later lives. The one fact of
life that holds no question is that change can occur.
While there are questions involving what kind of president
Mr. Trump might be or become, there are no questions about the
alternative. Hillary Clinton has proven
to be unswerving and unchanging in her basic nature. She has throughout her extensive career been a
cold, calculating manipulative liar. Her
ability to be self-serving while holding public office and the public trust is
pretty much unequalled. There are plenty
of stories involving her temper tantrums and her disdain for those in her
service, including those protecting her life.
We don’t really have to go back through her history in public life as
most of these things have re-occurred numerous times in the last 5 years.
We also do not need to get our memories jogged when it comes
to the progressive liberal progress made during the last seven years. I just gotta ask “do you feel lucky?” It was bad enough when we allowed the second
term of President O by staying home. That was close enough to the definition of
insanity. What would it say about our
sanity factor if we were to replicate that same mistake again? It’s nice to stand in front of our mirrors
and say we stood up for our beliefs, we were true to standards patting
ourselves on the back while watching our rights go down the drain with the
ship. Glub, glub is not a good answer.
